Hi Guys

We are thinking of offering a Directors Viewfinder and we just want to gauge interest to see what demand might be. It would be a version with interchangeable lens mounts to use with your existing lens set.

No price point or pictures yet just research Very Happy

I would be very interested!
I'm currently using my DSLR, but with the 1,5 cropfactor: terrible.

If it has a Nikon mount, upright image (off course), a handgrip and some guidelines for Cinemascope Aspect Ratio. I think you'll have a winner.

And it also should have the right price! I would never buy it if it costs more than 500 euros.

Hope this helps.

With my SGPro and HVX200 and the zoom set to Z81 on the camera, I've found my Canon 20D with the standard lens almost exactly matches the lens set we used on our recent feature.

It was great as I was able to quickly relay lenses to our DOP for the entire shoot. Sure it's not exact but it was just a few mm out either way and better than paying £1000 for a decent DVF.

Might be an idea to get in touch with the guys at Chemical wedding who have built an app for the iphone called ARTEMIS. Wayne could maybe send them the tech specs of the SGPRO Systems and they could include that in there camera selection database.

I've been in touch and they are constantly adding lenses and cameras to their database.

I'd imagine they would be up for developing a version of ARTEMIS for the indie user:

SELECT YOUR CAMERA

SELECT YOUR LENS ADAPTOR (if any)

SELECT THE LENS

...RESULT.
