Any info when? |
|
I am about to make a purchase for the upcoming project that starts next month.
Do you have any realistic info for us when your ff will begin shipping?
Cinevate is one option but I would really like to check out your ff as well before purchase, but the time is running out

Hi Jaakkon,
We have received the final 'approval' production version last week which we are very happy with.
We have now given our machine shop the go ahead to machine the first batch. We are looking at a probable November release.

The Redrock uses an off the shelf Huco gearbox which we also used for our previous follow focus.
We have completely custom made & designed the gearbox in our new follow focus from the ground up, minimizing both play, flex & backlash.
More will be revealed shortly...

Hi Neil,
Waiting has been hard, but the final parts arrived this afternoon. We have assembled a few units and we are very pleased.
We are now finalizing the manual & packaging artwork ready for print, as well as the website order pages. Only a couple of weeks left guys

I have been testing the final prototype of the CINEfocus over the last few days on a shoot.
Its good, definatly better than the Redrock. Its worth the wait, Wayne is very close to release now.

For your amusement, here is a photo of us testing the CINEfocus.
I told Andy (the camera operator) to test the FF, and I used something i found in the armorers car to make sure he did it right.
